Overview:
DocRadar is a healthcare application designed to bridge the gap between patients and doctors by providing real-time doctor availability, seamless appointment booking, and secure payment integration. It features geolocation services using Google Maps API, enabling users to locate nearby healthcare providers effortlessly. Built with a focus on accessibility and reliability, it streamlines healthcare access for both urban and underserved areas.
Contributions & Responsibilities:
⦁ Developed Full-Stack Application: Built a React Native frontend and Node.js/Express.js backend with secure authentication and role-based access control.
⦁ Integrated Location Features: Used Google Maps API for real-time geolocation, enabling users to find nearby doctors and healthcare facilities.
⦁ Implemented Payment Systems: Integrated Stripe for secure, multi-method payment processing within the app.
⦁ Managed Data and APIs: Designed MySQL database and implemented logic for fetching and updating hospital and doctor data with real-time accuracy.
⦁ Deployed Scalable Systems: Deployed backend on AWS EC2 and utilized S3 for secure data storage, ensuring scalability and high performance.
